TEvision

SERVER SESSION

Connect your YouTube session.

Upload a signed-in YouTube cookie export. The server uses it to fetch videos for the canvas player.

Prefer signing in directly? Use the YouTube sign-in page to avoid cookie exports.

Setup is locked.

Prepare the cookie file

  1. Use a dedicated YouTube account in a private browser window. Install Get cookies.txt LOCALLY and allow it in that private window.
  2. Sign in on YouTube, then visit https://www.youtube.com/robots.txt in the same tab.
  3. Export cookies for youtube.com only in Netscape format and close that private window. Upload the exported file here.
  4. Return to the player and press Play video. Uploading stores the session; successful playback verifies that YouTube accepts it.

Follow the yt-dlp cookie export instructions to avoid session rotation.

The cookie file grants access to your YouTube session. This PoC stores one shared operator session privately on its server; it is used for all playback requests. The setup key stays in page memory until you lock or close this page. Google sign-in in another tab cannot transfer cookies to TEvision automatically. If YouTube rejects this server even with valid cookies, playback will still need further diagnosis.
